Anyone with an average level of fitness and health can enjoy scuba diving.

However, some heart, breathing and lung problems (such as asthma) could rule out your participation.

Before enrolling onto a PADI training course you would need to complete the PADI Medical Questionnaire and answer 'YES' or 'NO' to each question.

Weather and water temps

The Red Sea has sunshine every day, and virtually no rainfall. With air temps from 24°C to 39°C and water temps from 22°C to 26°C, diving is year-round.

PADI Referral

The PADI Referral System is in place to allow students that have completed the first part of the recreational diving course with one dive centre to finish off their certification with another.

For example, you may choose to start a course in a PADI dive centre in the UK and then complete the final Open Water dives with Ocean College in the stunning Red Sea.

Ocean College Dive Centre is the premier diving school in Sharm el Sheikh in the Red Sea.
