The Divemaster and Instructor Internship, run by Ocean College, is a tailor made structured career programme for certified recreational divers who are looking for a lifestyle change within the worldwide dive industry and the opportunity to work overseas either full or part time.
Ocean College has been operating for over 10 years and is the official dive operator for both Thomson and First Choice and is one of the largest and most respected dive operators based in Sharm El Sheikh where our training is second to none and with a team of over 40 instructors.
We will provide the most thorough and professional training available to all internship candidates who will gain the highest credentials to begin their diving career.

- Airport transfers in Sharm
- Assistance with visa renewal
- Lunch & drinks on the boats during internship
- 30 day Divemaster course
- TDI basic Nitrox, Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures courses including all materials, gas, equipment and certification
- Minimum 24 days boat diving
- PADI IDC prep course, Assistant Instructor, Emergency 1st Response instructor, Instructor Development Course and Instructor Examinations

- Divemaster certification & PADI membership - 55GBP
- IDC Registration - 80GBP
- IE fees - 335GBP
- ERFi certification - 70.50GBP
- Instruction materials
Also, any food and drinks not specified above and general cost of living/entertainment.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age 18
- Minimum 20 logged dives
- Current medical less than 1 year old stating fitness to dive
- PADI Rescue Diver (although can be added to course, see below)
- CPR & 1st Aid certification (although can be added to course, see below)
- DAN professional insurance
Add ons for those not holding prerequisites:
- Rescue Diver - 199GBP
- Rescue manual - 22.50GBP
- Emergency 1st Response - 70.50GBP
Should you not have the prerequisites the above courses can be added and paid for in the UK. This will not increase the length of the internship.
