BSAC Dive Leader

A BSAC Dive Leader is a diver who can plan and lead a range of dives including those requiring detailed dive, air and decompression requirements planning. They have the skill and level of knowledge to progressively extend both their own and others experience.

Dive Leaders are competent to marshal and supervise dives. The Dive Lead can dive to a depth which is initially limited to 35 metres but which can be subsequently be extended progressively to a maximum depth of 50 metres .

They can dive with any grade of diver including Ocean Diver trainee on supervised dives by a Dive marshal. This 5 day course covers O2 Administration, Practical Rescue Management and other dive leading subjects.
