PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

Looking for more adventure? You found it! The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course fine tunes your dive skills and allows you to explore some of the world's premier diving sites such as Ras Mohamed's Shark Reef or the wreck of the Thistlegorm.

The Advanced Open Water Diver program offers you a structured program where you gain additional experience and skills under the direct guidance of an Ocean College PADI Instructor.

From deep dives at White Knight Canyon to amazing drift dives around the Ras Um Sid headland, this in-water, performance based programme has something for everyone and includes a total of five Adventure Dives from the following list:

AWARE Fish Identification Dive

Boat Dive

Deep Dive *

Drift Dive

Enriched Air Nitrox Dive

Multilevel and Computer Dive

Night Dive

Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive

Search & Recovery Dive

Underwater Naturalist Dive

Underwater Navigation Dive *

Underwater Photography Dive

The course is usually conducted over two days from one of our many dive boats as well as the beach at Naama Bay.

Successful completion of the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course allows you to participate in more advanced diving activities to a maximum recommended depth limit of 30 metres.

Course Prerequisites

• Minimum age: 12 years (age 12 - 14 years max 21 metres).

• PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent.

• Duration 2 days.
