TDI Nitrox Semiclosed Rebreather Course

The benefits of rebreather diving include a closer contact with marine life due to the reduced outflow of bubbles when compared to normal open circuit scuba, especially beneficial to photographers.

During this course, students will cover all topics necessary for the competent and safe use of equipment operation and will also learn about the history and evolution of rebreathers.

Utilising up to four different mixes of Nitrox for differeing corresponding depths to a maximum of 40m. The rebreathers (Dolphin, Atlantis and Draeger) on this course are designed for non-decompression diving but with greatly extended bottom times due to enriched air Nitrox.

Prerequisites:

Minimum age 15

Minimum certification TDI Basic Nitrox Diver or equivalent

20 logged dives in open water
